The Parkinson Network of Arizona (PNA), a voluntary alliance, was formed in September of 2006 to support the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center outreach programs through fundraising, community building, advocacy and increasing public awareness.
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.
Staying connected looks a little different these days, but we’re committed to finding ways to be together while apart. Your health and safety are always our top priorities. That’s why we won’t be holding an in-person event for the 15th Annual Walk the Fight & Run the Distance for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, originally scheduled for Feb. 6, 2021. However, we’ve decided to still hold the race in a virtual format!
This means you can walk/run wherever and whenever you choose while still supporting the community outreach and wellness programs at the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
Walk/run with a small group of loved ones while others in your community do the same! You’ll still receive a medal and T-shirt to commemorate your support and accomplishment. To celebrate our 15th year we are offering a commemorative anniversary pin for those who complete the 15K walk/run.
Our collective efforts can continue to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and have a lasting impact on the Parkinson’s community in Arizona!
"Don't Give Up" is a message of hope and resilience dedicated to all of those who battle the non-motor "Parkinson's disease symptoms that you don't see", but that heavily impact quality of life. It is an invitation to look at a broader picture of what living with PD is, from the perspective of newly diagnosed and young onset PWPs who are determined to never give up.
Check out this great video produced by a friend of the PNA, Zane Berry. Thank you!!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals of improving quality of life for those living with Parkinson's. Your generous donation will fund our mission. The PNA proudly supports the Community Outreach and Wellness classes presented by the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Foundation.
We thank you for hearing our story, told by songwriter José María Lobo in the captivating song “I am the Beat of another Song - Parkinsong”. We hope it will become a tool to raise awareness and give a voice to the Spanish speaking Parkinson’s community around the world. Together we can advocate for the unique challenges of not only Latinos but all people with Parkinson’s disease.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
